Balkruti
The skill-training programme of The Vatsalya Foundation is called Balkruti- child's creation. Children learn skills like making a purse, cotton bags, candles, Rakhis, book marks, greeting cards, files, diya painting, wool work etc. These items bring out the creativity in the children. These items are displayed in exhibitions and also put on sale. Children show a great amount of pride in displaying their art in front of the public. All the art displayed by the children are authentic and done professionally. Separate skill training programmes were organised for the girls in one of the centers. The girls were given skills in applying mehandi, spray-painting, making wrapping papers, beadwork and embroidery
